How it gets made
Four stages, one pair of hands.
Scrub the process the way you would scrub a cut.
Stage 01
Work out what it needs to say.
Most projects arrive somewhere between “we need a video” and a full storyboard. Either is fine. The first conversation is about the one thing the finished piece has to do.
Stage 02
Capture what exists.
Cameras, lights and sound on the day — events, interviews, performances, weddings. Everything shot with the edit already in mind, so nothing useful gets missed and nothing useless gets shot.
Stage 03
Build what does not.
Aircraft, balloons, title sequences, whole scenes — modelled, lit, animated and composited from nothing. This is the part a camera cannot do, and it is where most of the character comes from.
Stage 04
Cut it, grade it, hand it over.
Edit, sound, colour, and masters in whatever shape you need them — wide, square or vertical. You see a cut with time to respond before anything is locked.
