Privacy policy

What this site collects

Nothing. This is a static website. It has no contact form, no account system, no database and no server-side code. It sets no cookies, and uses no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party scripts of any kind.

There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to. Under PIPEDA and the GDPR, consent is required when personal information is collected — on this site, none is.

What your browser stores

One item, and only to improve your experience: a sessionStorage flag recording that you have already seen the opening animation, so it is not repeated while your tab stays open. It holds no personal information, is never transmitted anywhere, and is erased when you close the tab.

What the web host records

This site is hosted on Hostinger. Like every web server, it keeps standard access logs — IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser used. These are produced by the hosting infrastructure, are used for security and diagnostics, and are not used to build a profile of you. Hostinger's own privacy terms govern that data.

When you get in touch

Contacting Visually Rendered Productions is entirely your choice and happens away from this website — by WhatsApp, telephone or email. Whatever you send (your name, contact details and anything about your project) is used only to reply to you and to carry out work you commission. It is never sold, rented or shared for marketing.

Correspondence is kept for as long as the enquiry and any resulting work require, plus the period Canadian tax and accounting rules oblige. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy, and email to your provider's.

Links to other services

This site links to WhatsApp and to social media profiles. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's service, governed by their privacy policy rather than this one.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because this site collects nothing, such a request would relate only to correspondence you have sent. Email visuallyrendered@gmail.com and it will be actioned within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children and knowingly collects no information from anyone at all.

Copyright & usage

Every photograph, film, animation, rendered sequence, still frame, logo and piece of written copy on this website is the property of Visually Rendered Productions or is used with permission, and is protected under the Canadian Copyright Act and international copyright treaties.

What you may not do

Without prior written permission you may not copy, download, save, reproduce, redistribute, publish, broadcast, adapt, crop, re-edit, re-upload, or use to train any machine-learning or generative AI system, any image or film on this site — in whole or in part, for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

Removing or obscuring a credit or copyright notice is a separate breach.

What is absolutely fine

Linking to any page on this site is welcome and needs no permission. Sharing a link on social media is welcome. Quoting a short passage of text with clear attribution and a link back is fine.

People in the photographs

The wedding photographs published here appear with the consent of the couples featured. If you appear in an image on this site and would like it removed, email visuallyrendered@gmail.com and it will be taken down promptly — no explanation needed.

Licensing

To license an image or a film for your own use, please get in touch. Most requests are straightforward and reasonably priced.

Reporting infringement

If you believe work shown here infringes your copyright, email visuallyrendered@gmail.com with the material in question, the basis of your claim and your contact details, and it will be reviewed promptly.

Content here is kept as accurate and current as is reasonably possible, but is provided without warranty of any kind. Portfolio work is illustrative of past projects; it is not a guarantee of any particular result on a future one. Every quote, timeline and deliverable is agreed separately and in writing for each project.

Availability

No guarantee is given that this site will be available uninterrupted or free of error. It may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time without notice.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visually Rendered Productions accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, and any dispute falls to the courts of Ontario.

These terms may be revised from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last were.
